The Nairobi National Polytechnic is proud to be ISO 9001:2015 Certified. The Polytechnic was awarded the Quality Management System Certificate on 26th September 2017 by The Kenya Bureau of Standards after auditing the Polytechnic's Quality Management System.

The Polytechnic realizes the current need to change its training and operating environment by offering quality services. This Certification endorses the Polytechnic’s commitment to providing quality services to meet the highest level of customer satisfaction.

To facilitate this commitment, the Polytechnic has put in place a Quality Management System (QMS) which is aligned with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems requirements to ensure a system's approach and harmony in all the processes.

The development of the Quality Management System is the Polytechnic’s commitment to ensure renewal and transformation into a leading Technical Training Institute that provides quality education, training, research and innovation for the development of academic excellence. 

Customers take center stage in all the processes within the Polytechnic and hence customer satisfaction is paramount. For this reason, the Polytechnic’s Top Management ensures that customer requirements are determined, met and continuously monitored with the aim of raising satisfaction levels. The Quality Management System has contributed to effectiveness, timeliness, transparency and consistency in  service delivery.

As the Management Representative, I would like to appreciate and recognize the support received from the Board of Governors and the Central Administration in ensuring that the Polytechnic has an effective Quality Management System. The efforts and hard work of the entire The Nairobi National Polytechnic Staff in the development and implementation of the Quality Management System is commendable. The team effort and commitment made the certification journey a big success.
